Posting on WordPress is one of the things that I love to do. I’m not sure why, I just love doing it. I can sit here, and vent and say what needs to be said, and then get it all out, and then move on with my life. I think that’s how problems are meant to be taken care of-you get to them, you see them, you understand that, maybe, they don’t need to have a whole social uprising to solve them, and then you think and sort them out on your own, and then see hey, it’s not so bad, I can move on and call it good.
Of course, there are the problems that involve thing such as stuff that isn’t so easily solved. Things that need a bit more to make them solved. The things that need the cooperation of others. Those problems, the ones that aren’t based upon me and me alone, those are the ones I have problems with the most.
They are much harder to solve, much more difficult to understand, and they don’t quite have the same “finese” that other problems have.
They are, in essence, the reason humanity struggles the way it does.
If you can sit and see the solution to a problem within five minutes, you are done, move on with your life.
But if it takes more than that, everyone scrambles, trying to find a solution that will be found in the said five minutes, just to be able to move on with their life.
What if, we say, not worry about the future and dwell on the here-and-now.
What is so important about tomorrow anyway? Who’s to say that there is going to be a tomorrow? Who’s to say that things will even matter tomorrow?
That’s the question. Will it matter tomorrow?
Ask yourself that one. If it does matter, persue it all your energy, heart and soul. If it doesn’t, toss it to the back-burner and say, oh well, I’ll live with it for a little while, see where that gets me.
I’d like to share with you where this all comes from (my sudden notion of philosophy).
Are you ready?
The answer is……………..
I have no clue. I just felt like being philosophical is all. For language arts, for my next project (we’re reading “A Raisin in the Sun” and I’m finished already, of course), I have to read this book called “Tuesdays With Morrie.” I’m about 60 pages in and I love it. Well, I guess I’m almost half way through. And I’ll be very sad when it’s over. It’s one of those books that get your fired up, like “Fahrenheit 451″ got me all fired up. The flame (ha ha ha, no pun intended) from that book is still goin’ in me. The flame from “Tuesdays with Morrie” will hopefully keep going as well.
I don’t know, it’s just well written, I like the style. The story is good as well. It’s so much like the battle between society and the human soul. I like those kinds of stories. Because the human soul always wins. Along the line, someone sees that money isn’t everything-it will not wake up at 4 in the morning if you feel lonely and give you a hug; it will not be there when you need to tell someone your genius idea; and it will not be there when you are old and decrepid and just want some company.
I think that the soul wins because people aren’t really as evil as they seem. On the outside, maybe. But on the inside, we really are all alike-we all want the same basic things, the same principles of life are there for everyone. I don’t know why this battle even has to take place, if we know that the soul wins everytime.
I just don’t understand that part. Why must we ask ourselves if we do what we’re told or we do what works for us. We should know by now that we ought to do what’s best for ourselves. That ought to be a law that we are taught when growing up.
Don’t worry, I’m going to do that for my children. I’m going to sit them down and tell them, hey, you need to see this. I’m going to tell them about how they can either do what someone who doesn’t know them tells them to do, or they can do what they perceive to be the right thing. They can choose from there. I’m going to clue them in-the society is mainly wrong. They get so caught up in how they are looked upon, how they are succeeding, when in reality, that isn’t what matters.
What really matters is what you do, how you affect people, what you leave behind. I think that, with this knowledge, my kids will be able to grow up, lead a good life, and see that society is just going to drag them down.
Make your own society. It’s worth it.
I’d make mine be the way that I want. I already have my own. Jessica Land, I call it. It’s an island. You come by invitation only (highly recommended that you work that way). The rules there are my own. Laws of acting and laws of how you carry yourself are thrown out the window. You have to work your little ass off to get there too. Because, there, there are no laws on character, no laws on what a person can or cannot do. You have to choose for youself.
So, you see, it’s not that hard to do all this on your own.
I do it already.
Now you can.
Jump out of your comfort zone and THINK. Think about what you can do to make your society better. Make your own. Call it ______ Land (whatever name you want really). Invite others to see just how you work. And maybe, all the problems in the world can be solved in five minutes.
Just maybe…………….

You’re righter than you think; almost, so very close.

Well thanks. But in my mind, I am 100% right. So, you know, that’s okay.
