I am super-duper proud to be the one to be able to say yay….I just did a days work. Well, finished half an hour ago, either way.
I’m supposed to get 2,000 words a day. That’s what Stephen King says he does (in “On Writing”), even though he recommended starting out with 1,000 a day. But I decided to shoot for 2,000 – because I can so write that much in a day, no big deal.
Just the doing it part.
Well, I did like 6,000 yesterday. And I’m now over 10,000. So, you see, I can blow 2,000 out of the water.
In case you were wondering, this is what I was referring to in the beginning and the end of the previous post I did.
But yes, I am a workaholic.
Yesterday, I did it in the afternoon, and after I came upstairs at ten.
Today, I did it from like 1 to 3 or something like that.
I’ll probably work on it tonight, I hope.
Oh ya, the student council meeting.
I didn’t go, needless to say.
I’m sure it’s over by now, seeing as it’s pretty much 4, no idea why it would take this long. I’m expecting a phone call, sort of. Maybe. I might get one. Probably not. I don’t really care, actually, it’s not something I’m worried about. Not like I could have gotten there, and I don’t know where the phone number sheet is.
Oh well!
I’m in a really good mood right now.
Because I have over 10,000 words.
That’s a lot for me, considering most stories I do don’t get past there.
I have one sort-of story, that’s over 20,000 words, and it’s 31 pages in Microsoft Word. But that’s not a story, more of a telling of events that happened. I’d like to get it all printed out and stuff, edited and shit. But, I don’t have a printer. If I had a printer, I’d have so much stuff printed out, you have no idea. I have a folder, on my desktop, of things I want printed. You see, it sucks not having a printer.
I could ask my mom or dad to print it for me, but I don’t have a way to get it to their computers, other I’d rather not have it on their computers, so they could somehow read it or whatever. You know, I don’t know, somehow getting it saved on their computer, or reading it as it’s printing – it takes a while to print, you know. I just don’t want to share.
At all.
Not yet anyway.
So I guess going to have to wait until I’ve got a printer.
You know, I should look into buying one of those. It would be a better use of money than a digital camera, which I want, and probably cheaper even.
Way to go me!

Two words. Flash Drive.

For the printing? Ya, I have my iPod for that. Still, I don’t want anyone messing with my files…They would be the one to open it and mess with it and whatnot, so still, I don’t want to….Paranoid like that.

Why does it make you sort of wish you were bipolar?
And hey, I’m a slacker too, I just decided to not be a slacker at the moment. Don’t worry, I’ll be a slacker again soon!
